How it works

How we decide

Three answers: Yes, A little, No. How worried to be depends on what it was and how much, so a bite of biryani says watch at home, and the call-a-vet answer only comes up when the amount earns it.

Where it comes from

Merck Veterinary Manual, ASPCA Animal Poison Control, WSAVA, Pet Poison Helpline. Where they disagree, we take the more cautious one.

What it isn't

A guide, not a diagnosis. It can't see your dog. If something's wrong, your vet decides. Not on the list? Message us and we'll add it.

Nothing on the never list is in a Wagbowl bowl. No onion, no garlic, no salt.
