Can my dog eat Imodium?

No.

Unless your vet prescribed this exact medicine for this dog at their dose. In collies, shepherds and related breeds, a normal dose is neurologically dangerous.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now with the packet, and tell them the breed — it changes the risk considerably.
Watch forSleepiness, wobbliness, drooling, vomiting, a bloated belly or constipation; in MDR1 breeds, deep sedation, tremors or coma — within a few hours.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyDogs with the MDR1 gene can't keep this drug out of the brain. In any dog it also masks diarrhoea instead of treating the cause, and some diarrhoea (parvo, a poison) needs a vet fast.

Where this comes from. Collie Health Foundation — Multidrug Sensitivity (MDR1): loperamide.
