Can my dog eat salt?نمک

No.

Salt in quantity causes vomiting, extreme thirst and, at high doses, seizures.

Already ate it?

If they ate itIf a large amount was eaten, make sure fresh water is available — don't take it away — and call a vet. Never use salt to make a dog vomit: that is a common way dogs get salt poisoning.
Watch forVomiting within a few hours, then extreme thirst, weakness, diarrhoea, wobbliness, tremors or seizures.

Thinking of giving it?

Why not even a littleSigns can start from about 2–3 g of salt per kg of body weight, and about 4 g per kg can kill. A level teaspoon of salt is about 6 g.
WhyDogs need far less sodium than people. Nimko, crisps and salted nuts are the usual culprits.
