Can my dog eat naphthalene balls?نیفتھلین کی گولیاں

No.

Mothballs are an emergency. Old-style naphthalene balls destroy red blood cells, newer ones still cause tremors, and camphor (kafoor) tablets can cause fits. One ball can be enough for a small dog.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now and take a ball or the packet — naphthalene, paradichlorobenzene and camphor are treated differently. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to.
Watch forVomiting, mothball-smelling breath, weakness, tremors or fits within hours; pale or brown gums, fast breathing and dark urine over the next few days as the blood is damaged.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyNaphthalene damages red blood cells, causing anaemia over the next few days. Paradichlorobenzene balls are less toxic but still cause tremors and liver or kidney damage, and camphor acts on the brain and causes seizures.
