Can my dog eat datura?دھتورا

No.

Datura (dhatura), the spiky-fruited weed on empty plots and roadsides, is a strong poison. The seeds are the most dangerous part.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now and take a piece of the plant or a seed pod. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to.
Watch forWide pupils, a dry mouth, a racing heart, agitation or a drunken walk, a swollen belly from a stopped gut, seizures — within one to a few hours.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyIt contains atropine-like alkaloids that shut down the nervous system's 'rest' signals: the pupils go wide, the gut stops, the heart races and the dog becomes confused or agitated.
