Can my dog eat rat poison?چوہے مار دوا

No.

Rat poison is an emergency, even if your dog seems fine. Zinc phosphide goli and tablets act within hours and have no antidote; blood-thinning baits cause bleeding 3–7 days later.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now, even with no symptoms, and take the packet — the type decides the treatment. Don't feed them (food makes phosphide release more gas) and don't make them vomit at home. If they vomit, keep your face away and drive with the windows open.
Watch forPhosphide: vomiting that may smell of rotten fish or garlic, a bloated belly, fast breathing, wobbliness, fits or collapse — within 15 minutes to 4 hours. Anticoagulant: dullness and no appetite, then pale gums, bruising, nosebleeds, coughing, or blood in vomit, stool or urine — usually 3 to 7 days later.

Thinking of giving it?

Why not even a littleZinc phosphide: lethal doses in dogs are 20 to 40 mg per kg, and a tenth of that is treated as toxic.
WhyZinc and aluminium phosphide (rat goli, gandum ki goli) turn into poisonous phosphine gas in the stomach and can kill within hours, and the gas in the dog's vomit can poison people. Anticoagulant baits (brodifacoum, bromadiolone) stop blood clotting — vitamin K1 is the antidote if started before bleeding. Other baits attack the brain (bromethalin) or kidneys (vitamin D3).
