Can my dog eat oleander?کنیر

No.

Oleander (kaner) is one of the most poisonous plants in Pakistan — every part of it can stop a dog's heart, including dry fallen leaves.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now, even if your dog seems fine, and take a leaf or flower with you. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to.
Watch forDrooling, vomiting and diarrhoea (sometimes bloody) first, then weakness, a slow or irregular heartbeat and collapse — within a few hours.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyKaner lines Lahore's roads, canal banks and gardens, pink, white and yellow. It carries heart poisons (cardiac glycosides) that slow and scramble the heartbeat; drying the leaves does not make them safe.
