Can my dog eat kerosene?مٹی کا تیل

No.

Whether swallowed or rubbed on the coat. Kerosene, petrol, mobil oil and turpentine (tarpin) get breathed into the lungs and cause a serious pneumonia. Never use them for mange, ticks or maggot wounds.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to. If it's on the coat, wash it off with mild dish soap and lots of cool water without scrubbing, and stop them licking.
Watch forDrooling, gagging, coughing and fast or laboured breathing; wobbliness or drowsiness. Breathing trouble can start one to several days later, so a dog that seems fine is not in the clear.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyThe danger is the lungs more than the stomach: these oils slip into the airway when a dog swallows, coughs or vomits, and the lung damage can show up days later. On the skin they burn and are licked off.
