Can my dog eat cockroach bait?

A little.

A licked smear of gel or chalk is usually only a stomach upset. A chewed plastic bait station is the bigger risk — it can block the gut.

Thinking of giving it?

How much is fineNone is safe to give. A lick or a chewed corner usually needs no treatment.
WhyBaits hold very little insecticide (fipronil, boric acid, hydramethylnon and similar), so serious poisoning from them is not expected. Cockroach chalk is usually a pyrethroid, which dogs handle better than cats.

Already ate it?

If they ate itKeep the packet. Call your vet if they swallowed plastic pieces, chewed a whole stick of chalk, or keep vomiting. If they drool or twitch after chalk, call a vet now.
Watch forMild vomiting or drooling within a few hours. Vomiting, straining or refusing food over one to two days if plastic was swallowed.
