Can my dog eat baingan?بینگن
A little.
Plain cooked brinjal in small amounts is fine for most dogs. Baingan bharta or salan — oil, onion, garlic, masala — is not.
Thinking of giving it?
How much is fineA small piece of plain cooked flesh, no stem, once to see how they handle it.
WhyThe flesh isn't toxic. The leaves and stem contain solanine, and brinjal is fairly high in oxalates, so skip it for dogs with kidney problems or bladder stones. A few dogs are sensitive to it.
