Can my dog eat ORS?او آر ایس

A little.

Only on a vet's instruction, and only mixed exactly as the packet says. Mixed too strong it's a salt overdose, and a dog that needs rehydrating usually needs a vet.

Thinking of giving it?

How much is fineOne sachet in exactly the amount of clean water printed on it, offered in small sips. Never the dry powder. Plain fresh water in small, frequent amounts is the safe home step while you call your vet.
WhyCorrectly mixed ORS isn't harmful, but a dog with vomiting or diarrhoea bad enough to need it often needs a drip — and a dog too unwell to drink needs a vet regardless. Use plain ORS, not flavoured drinks with sweeteners.

Already ate it?

If they ate itAte the dry powder from a sachet: give fresh water and watch them. A chewed box of sachets is a lot of salt — call your vet.
Watch forVomiting, heavy thirst, wobbliness or trembling after eating powder. For the illness itself: refusing water, dry gums, sunken eyes or lethargy means a vet today.

A guide, not a diagnosis. If your dog seems unwell, call your vet.
