Can my dog eat fireworks?پٹاخے

No.

Unused fireworks and the debris after Shab-e-Barat, weddings or 14 August contain chemicals that poison the gut, blood and kidneys. A lit one also burns the mouth.

Already ate it?

If they ate itCall a vet now and take the wrapper or a piece. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to. If the mouth is burnt, rinse it gently with water on the way.
Watch forVomiting, drooling, belly pain and bloody diarrhoea first; tremors, weakness, pale or yellow gums later. Burns to the lips and mouth if it was lit.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyFireworks contain oxidisers (potassium nitrate, chlorates) that damage red blood cells and kidneys, and colourants that carry heavy metals such as barium. How bad it is depends on the type and amount.
