Yes.
A tick hook, or fine-tipped tweezers gripped right at the skin, removes the whole tick including the mouthparts.
Thinking of giving it?
How much is fineHook under the tick and twist, or grip it at the skin with tweezers and pull straight up, steadily. Clean the spot with saline afterwards.
WhyNever burn a tick off or smother it in oil or spirit. Wear gloves and don't crush ticks with bare fingers — in Pakistan ticks can carry Congo fever (CCHF) to people.
