Can my dog eat Ponstan?

No.

Mefenamic acid is another human anti-inflammatory, like Brufen, that can ulcerate a dog's stomach and damage the kidneys.

Already ate it?

If they ate itGo to a vet now with the strength and how many. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to.
Watch forVomiting (sometimes with blood), not eating, belly pain, black tarry stool within hours; drinking and peeing more, or much less, over the next few days.

Thinking of giving it?

WhyDogs are far more sensitive to this family of painkillers than people. No safe dog dose has been worked out for mefenamic acid, and vets don't use it.

Where this comes from. Merck Veterinary Manual — Over-the-Counter Analgesics Toxicity (NSAIDs). No dog-specific threshold is published for mefenamic acid; it is treated like other human NSAIDs.
