Can my dog eat garlic?لہسن

No.

Garlic damages red blood cells in dogs, and it is three to five times stronger than onion.

Already ate it?

If they ate itCall your vet with your dog's weight and roughly how much. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to.
Watch forPale gums, weakness, tiredness, fast breathing, dark red or brown urine — usually 3–5 days later.

Thinking of giving it?

Why not even a littleNo garlic threshold for dogs is published. Merck rates garlic 3–5 times more toxic than onion, and red-cell damage was seen in a study feeding 5 g per kg a day for a week. One clove is about 3–7 g.
WhyCooking, frying and drying don't make it safe, and garlic powder is more concentrated than fresh cloves. Small amounts fed day after day can add up. Signs are delayed by days, so a dog that seems fine tonight is not in the clear.

Where this comes from. Merck Veterinary Manual — Allium spp Toxicosis in Animals; Lee et al., American Journal of Veterinary Research (2000) — garlic extract in dogs.
