Can my dog eat chocolate?چاکلیٹ

No.

Chocolate is toxic to dogs. Dark chocolate and cocoa powder are the most dangerous; white chocolate carries almost none of the toxin.

Already ate it?

If they ate itCall a vet now, even if they seem fine. Keep the wrapper — the type of chocolate and the amount change how urgent it is. Don't make them vomit unless a vet tells you to.
Watch forVomiting, thirst, restlessness, a racing heart, tremors or seizures — usually within 6–12 hours.

Thinking of giving it?

Why not even a littleSigns start from about 20 mg of theobromine and caffeine per kg of body weight, heart effects from 40–50 and seizures from 60. Per gram: milk chocolate about 2.3 mg, dark 5.3–5.6, baking chocolate 15.5, cocoa powder 28.5, white almost none. So mild signs from about 9 g of milk chocolate, 4 g of dark or under 1 g of cocoa powder per kg.
WhyDogs clear theobromine and caffeine very slowly, so they build up and overstimulate the heart and nervous system.
